Southwestern turkey and black burger with sweet potato fries.

Recipe- makes 8 burgers/ serves 4

  • 1 lb ground turkey thawed
  • 3/4 C cooked black beans
  • 3 drops Cumin essential oil or 1 tbsp
  • 3 tbsp diced miled chilles
  • 3/4 C gluten free Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 egg whisked or 1 collagen egg
  • salt/pepper
  • 4 bell peppers prepared

Mix all above ingredients in a large bowl and don't over mix, then using 1/3 C measure out 8 portions, In a heated skillet add 1 tbsp olive oil and cook on medium heat for 6 min per side. Broil your bell peppers, and let cool for a few min. Assemble your burgers inside of bell pepper, add fresh avocado or hot sauce if desired. 

Sweet potato fries

  • 2 lbs sweet potato cut into 1/4" slices
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt/pepper

Preheat oven to 450 F. combine all ingredients and toss fries into the mixture. Line baking pan with parchment paper, bake 20 min and toss half way through. 

Dippin sauce

  • 1/4 c greek yogurt
  • 1 jalepeno  seeded and diced
  • 1/3 C cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 ripe avocado 
  • 1 drop lime essential oil or 1 tbsp
